House of Faith Contribution:

  • Donated 30 jars of peanut butter and 35 jars of Jelly in May
  • Donate $250 per month, stocks the corn shelf
  • 30hrs of volunteer time (Jan – Oct); estimate 64 additional hours in Nov/Dec

Hopes Door

2016 stats are not published at this time.  Hope’s Door is a comprehensive domestic violence agency serving North Texas. Hope’s Door, Inc. offers intervention and prevention services to individuals and families affected by intimate partner and family violence and provides educational programs that enhance the community’s capacity to respond. In 2015, Hope’s Door answered 3,241 hotline calls; served 21,000 meals; provided 6,800 hours of counseling; provided emergency shelter to 375 women and children; and volunteers in North Texas contributed 18,000 hours of community service.

Collin County Meals on Wheels

House of Faith Contribution:    Members wrote hand written valentine cards to be delivered with meals for citizens in Plano.

Overall from All Partners:   Collin County Meals on Wheels will deliver approximately 220,000 meals this year to folks who are 60 and over or disabled, are primarily homebound, are unable to prepare their own meals and are nutritionally at risk.
